Meet Beatrice "Bea" Dubois

I'm Bea, and I've been baking since I could barely reach the kitchen counter. My grandmother taught me that baking isn't about chemistry—it's about love (and maybe a little bit of butter). I’ve spent decades taking complicated French pastry techniques and stripping them down so they work for the average person with a standard oven. If a recipe is too complex for a busy home cook, it doesn't make it onto my list.

My Culinary Philosophy

• Simple Ingredients: I bake with what’s in your pantry. Flour, sugar, butter, and eggs are the stars of my show.
• Patience, Not Perfection: I love the "imperfect" look of a rustic tart or a hand-dropped cookie. Taste always comes before looks.
• No-Bake Options: Sometimes it's too hot to turn on the oven, or you're in a rush. I love creating decadent desserts that require zero heat.

My Background & Expertise

I’ve spent years teaching community baking classes to people who were "afraid" of their ovens.
