Ingredients:
- 1.75 lb bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 0.5 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 0.5 tsp cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken thighs extremely dry on all sides using paper towels to ensure maximum skin crispiness.
- In a small bowl, whisk the baking powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Lightly coat the chicken in olive oil, then dredge thoroughly in the seasoning mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place thighs in the basket, skin-side down, and air fry for 10 minutes.
- Flip the chicken to skin-side up. Continue cooking for 8-10 minutes until the skin is bubbly and dark gold, and the internal temperature reaches 175°F (80°C).
