Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp orange zest
- 1 1/2 cups cranberries
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp orange juice
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your loaf pan with butter and line it with a parchment paper sling.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, whisk the melted butter, milk, egg, and orange zest until smooth.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients using a silicone spatula until just combined. Fold in the cranberries.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before lifting it out onto a wire rack.
- Whisk together the powdered sugar and orange juice until smooth, then drizzle the glaze over the warm loaf.
