- 1 cup (170g) Roma tomatoes, deseeded and finely diced
- 1/2 cup (75g) red onion, finely diced
- 1 small (5g) green serrano chili, minced
- 1/4 cup (10g) fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsp (4g) fresh mint leaves, chopped
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tsp (3g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp (2g) roasted cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp (2g) chaat masala
Instructions:
- Dice the cucumber, tomatoes, and onions into uniform 1/4-inch pieces. Ensure tomatoes are deseeded to prevent excess moisture, then place all diced vegetables into a mixing bowl.
- Fold in the minced serrano chili, chopped cilantro, and mint. Stir gently to distribute herbs without bruising the leaves.
- Sprinkle the roasted cumin and chaat masala over the vegetables. Drizzle with fresh lime juice and add salt and pepper.
- Toss the mixture once more immediately before serving to maintain crispness.
