Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup (60g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp (12g) chia seeds
  • 1 tsp (7g) maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch (0.5g) sea salt
  • 1/2 cup (75g) fresh or frozen berries
  • 1 tbsp (8g) sliced almonds

Instructions:

  1. Place the rolled oats, chia seeds, and sea salt into a 16 oz wide-mouth Mason jar.
  2. Add the almond milk, plain Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to the jar.
  3. Stir the mixture vigorously with a long-handled spoon, ensuring you scrape the bottom edges to prevent chia seed clumping.
  4. Gently fold in the fresh or frozen berries. If using frozen fruit, their juices will naturally sweeten the oats as they thaw.
  5. Seal the jar and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours, or overnight, to allow passive hydration.
  6. Before serving, top with sliced almonds for added texture and healthy fats.
