Ingredients:

  • 6 large flour tortillas (approx. 10 inches each)
  • 3/4 cup (190g) creamy peanut butter
  • 3 medium bananas (approx. 340g), peeled
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 2 tbsp (12g) chia seeds or hemp hearts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup (30g) mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Lay your tortillas flat on a clean surface. Using a spreader, apply a thin, even layer of peanut butter across the center of the tortilla, leaving about a 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) border around the edges.
  2. Place one whole, peeled banana on top of the peanut butter. If adding chia seeds or chocolate chips, sprinkle them directly onto the peanut butter before placing the banana.
  3. Starting from the edge closest to you, lift the tortilla and fold it over the banana. Press down firmly as you roll, creating a tight cylinder.
  4. Serve as is, or place the wrap on a cutting board and slice into 1-inch (2.5 cm) rounds to create 'Banana Sushi'.
