Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) English Cucumber, finely diced
- 1 cup (180g) Roma Tomatoes, finely diced and deseeded
- 1/2 cup (75g) Red Onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup (15g) Fresh Cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsp (30ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) Kala Namak (Black Salt)
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) Sea Salt
- 1/8 tsp (0.3g) Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp (1g) Roasted Cumin Powder
Instructions:
- Slice the tomatoes and scoop out the watery seeds with a spoon before dicing.
- Finely chop the cucumber, onion, and tomatoes into 1/4-inch cubes.
- Optional: Soak the diced onions in ice-cold water for 10 minutes, then drain and pat dry to reduce pungency.
- In a small bowl, combine the lime juice, olive oil, black salt, sea salt, black pepper, and roasted cumin powder.
- Whisk the dressing vigorously until the oil and lime juice are well emulsified.
- Place all diced vegetables and chopped cilantro into a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the dressing over the vegetables immediately before serving.
- Gently toss with a spoon until every cube is evenly coated.
